Does WooCommerce integration require WooCommerce to be installed?

Yes. The WooCommerce module activates automatically when WooCommerce is detected. If WooCommerce is not installed, the module stays inactive and causes no conflicts.

How does the attribute-based FAQ rule system work?

You define rules under FAQ → WooCommerce: when a product has a specific attribute value (e.g. Season = Summer), a chosen FAQ category is displayed on that product page automatically. Rules can use OR or AND logic across multiple conditions. Furthermore, you can add attribute rules directly on attribute value page.

Can I show a search box only on certain pages, not everywhere?

Yes. The global search setting enables search on all accordions. You can also enable or disable search per individual block in the Gutenberg sidebar — useful when you want search on a dedicated FAQ page but not in a sidebar widget.

Can visitors suggest questions without being logged in?

Yes. The suggestion form is available to all visitors by default. Submissions are saved as drafts and never published automatically. You review and publish them manually under FAQ → Suggestions.

Does the card/grid layout affect Schema.org output?

No. FAQPage JSON-LD is output regardless of layout. Grid and accordion layouts both produce the same structured data markup.

How do I get support?

Do I need the free HND FAQ plugin installed?

Yes — HND FAQ Pro is an addon that requires the free HND FAQ plugin to be active. Install the free version first, then activate Pro on top of it.

Can I use Pro on a client’s website?

Yes. Each license covers the number of domains shown on the pricing page. If you manage multiple client sites, the 25 site license is the most cost-effective option.

What happens when my annual license expires?

Your FAQ plugin continues to work normally — nothing breaks. You lose access to automatic updates, support and PRO features. You can renew at any time to restore both.

Do you offer lifetime license

Usually we do not offer lifetime licenses. On special occasions like during Cyber Monday, Christmas, E-Esmaspäev (Estonian specific event) etc we have special deals available. For lifetime licenses sold during special events — one payment, updates and support for as long as the plugin exists. We honour all lifetime licenses regardless of future pricing changes.

Do I need to re-enter my license key after renewing?

No. The license key stays the same — renewal extends the expiry date automatically.

Can I upgrade from a single-site license to multi-site?

Yes. Contact us and you pay only the difference between the two plans.

Will my data be lost if I switch from free to Pro?

No. Pro adds features on top of the free plugin — all your existing questions, categories and settings are untouched.
